Celebrating 77th Independence Day

"Freedom is not dear at any price. It is the breath of life. What would a man not pay for living?" Indeed as we celebrate 76 luminous years of our illustrious heritage, as we celebrate and pay homage to the unforgettable struggle and sacrifice of those innumerable men and women whose relentlessness and perseverance gave us what we know as India today, it is a moment of absolute pride, honour and prestige to be part of the glorious nation of India and observe our Independence Day. Let us not make this day just another red letter day in the calender, but rather take this opportunity to pay obeisance to our freedom struggle, to our braveheart defence forces whose supreme sacrifices let us sleep in peace, to all those who have contributed to making modern India a name to reckon with in the world stage. Let us all strive to preserve that heritage of our country, irrespective of the divisive forces of caste religion creed gender and be proud as Indians .. Happy Independence Day to all of you.
