Date: 21st May
Belle Vue Clinic successfully conducted an awareness session on “Healthy Diet in Worklife” for employees of the Grid Controller of India Limited (Grid-India), Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre (ERLDC) on 21st May.
The programme was designed to address the unique health and nutritional challenges faced by professionals working in highly demanding operational environments. Employees engaged in power grid management often work in round-the-clock shifts and are exposed to significant occupational stress, making healthy dietary practices an essential component of maintaining physical and mental well-being.
The session focused on practical nutritional strategies that can be easily integrated into busy work schedules. Participants were guided on the importance of balanced meal planning, healthy snacking habits, hydration, and maintaining nutritional consistency during shift duties. The discussion also highlighted the role of proper nutrition in improving concentration, sustaining energy levels, enhancing productivity, and reducing the risk of lifestyle-related disorders such as obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases.
Through interactive discussions and evidence-based recommendations, employees were encouraged to adopt sustainable dietary habits that support long-term health and overall quality of life. The session emphasized that small, consistent lifestyle modifications can have a significant impact on both personal wellness and professional performance.
Belle Vue Clinic remains committed to advancing preventive healthcare and promoting wellness beyond hospital settings. Through its corporate health initiatives, the Clinic continues to collaborate with organizations across sectors to foster healthier workplaces and empower employees with the knowledge needed to make informed health decisions.
We thank the management and employees of Grid-India, ERLDC, for their enthusiastic participation and for supporting the shared goal of creating a healthier and more productive workforce.
